Gahanna police: I-270 shooting where father, baby were hurt believed to stem from road rage

The father was critically injured from being shot and the baby was grazed by a bullet.

GAHANNA, Ohio — The Gahanna Division of Police is searching for the suspect who allegedly shot a father and his baby in a believed road rage incident on Interstate 270 over the summer.

On Aug. 17, officers arrived on I-270 near Broad Street and Hamilton Road. They found a 25-year-old man critically injured from being shot and a baby grazed by a bullet.

The father and child were taken to the hospital and have since recovered from their injuries.

Gahanna police released photos of a silver-colored sedan that is believed to have been involved in the incident.  The suspect was described as a male, but additional information was not provided.
