COLUMBUS, Ohio — The former athletics director for Bloom-Carroll Local Schools could spend 4 ½ years in prison as part of a plea deal for engaging in sexual conduct with a student.
According to court documents in Fairfield County, Chad Little has requested to have his February court date canceled and set a change of plea hearing.
The prosecution and defense are jointing recommending the judge to sentence Little to four years and six months in prison, according to the document. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 9.
Little was arrested last September and indicted on four counts of sexual battery. He initially pleaded not guilty to all counts.
According to the criminal complaint, Little allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a student at a school in the district sometime between March 1, 2018 and Sept. 20, 2020.
Following his indictment, Little was immediately placed on leave with no pay. In November, Little officially resigned from his position with the district.
