Police were investigating a stabbing at a Newark bar.
It happened Thursday around 9:45 p.m. at the Dew Drop Inn on Union Street.
A witness at the bar said a group of people were arguing in the beer garden area. Everyone went inside, and that's when witnesses said a man stabbed the female bar owner and a male bouncer,
A witness said a group of people jumped on the stabbing suspect until police could arrive at the scene.
Other bar-goers put pressure on the victims' wounds to try and stop the bleeding until the paramedics could arrive.
When police got there, they were able to get the knife out of the suspects hand and take him into custody. They also took a woman involved in the incident into custody.
The Newark Advocate reports both victims were flown to Columbus hospitals. Police did not release their conditions.
