Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers say they have made the second largest drug bust in division history.

Troopers seized 2,330 pounds of marijuana found in the back of a U-Haul near Lewisburg, northwest of Dayton.

Authorities say the truck, with Arizona license plates, was stopped on I-70 Saturday afternoon.

The marijuana was in 84 bundles that were sniffed out by a drug finding canine.

Driver Mario Arnold Mendoza, 29, of Port Arther, Texas, and Hector Andres Olea-Castro, 30, of Tijuana, Mexico, are being held in the Preble County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana.

The largest marijuana seizure by the OHP also occurred in 2005 in Preble County. More than 3,100 pounds of marijuana was found.
