One person was rushed to the hospital after a shooting near a north Columbus bar.
Police rushed to Boomerang's on Karl Road around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, they found Duane Brown suffering from a gunshot wound in the stomach area and rushed him to Riverside Methodist Hospital in life-threatening condition. He is now expected to survive.
Sherman Moore was shot in the foot, but did not need any treatment.
Witnesses have identified the suspect as Bruce Newby and Columbus Police have filed felonious assault charges against him. A warrant is out for his arrest.
