Reward Offered For Information About Man Shot, Killed While Riding In Backseat Of Car

Authorities are looking for answers in a murder of a Columbus man from late October of this year.

Police said Lynford Taylor, 40, was shot on Oct. 26 while riding in the back of a car near the Cornerstone Crossing Apartments at Fountainview Court in southeast Columbus.

The car was driven to Reynoldsburg High School after the shooting, and authorities took Taylor to Grand Medical Center.

Taylor died as a result of the injuries. Another passenger was also shot in the attack.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000 for any information received by Jan. 9 leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
