A man was formally charged this week for allegedly following and robbing a family in their garage, 10TV News reported Friday.
Douglas Blake was charged with one count of aggravated robbery with a firearm and one count of aggravated burglary with a firearm.
Blake, 25, was arrested at his Powel home Feb. 21 after a sketch of the robbery suspect was released.
Police said that Blake robbed the family shortly after midnight on Sunday, Feb. 19, along Brettridge Drive, located in the Liberty Lake subdivision.
According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, the family was driving home along Sawmill Road when they noticed a white vehicle following them.
The family pulled their car into the garage and waited to make sure nobody was behind them or in the garage.
As the driver was preparing to get out of the car, deputies said that Blake allegedly approached the car with a gun.
According to court records, Blake was convicted in 2010 of possession of drug paraphernalia.
