One parent says it has happened before.

"Last year, someone spray painted the sign in front of the school." Said parent Kim Bosley

But police say this time, five teenagers were caught in the act vandalizing the school.

A sixth teen was picked up near the high school.

Some of the images and words spray painted on the building were considered graphic.

A total of six teenagers were taken into custody. According to the police report, three of them are students at Beechcroft High School .

"So it's like a Northland - Beechcroft thing." Bosley said.

Police say they have launched a criminal investigation into the vandalism, and the teens could face repercussions.

Investigators also say the front door to the school and one of the windows was damaged.
