A woman was sentenced to life in prison on Tuesday for videotaping herself performing sex acts with her 10-month-old son.
Ashley Jessup, 25, admitted to the assault and was sentenced to life with no chance of parole for 15 years.
Jessup, 25, pleaded guilty to one count of rape, but offered no explanation for her actions, according to The Columbus Dispatch.
According to detectives, Jessup sent the video to a boyfriend out of state. His ex-girlfriend turned them in.
Jessup's boyfriend, Jordan Russell, was sentenced in June to 3 to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to child sexual abusive computer activity out of Michigan.
The child is now in the custody of his maternal grandmother.
