Authorities in South Carolina said early Thursday that a man and woman suspected of robbing abank in Hilliard last month have been taken into custody.
Spartanburg police confirmed the arrests of Kamisha D. Thomas and Robert D. Gilmore III, 10TV'sMaureen Kocot reported.
Both were arrested without incident at a motel on Wednesday night, according to FBI agent HarryTrombitas.
The couple was sought in connection with the robbery of a Fifth Third Bank, located on HilliardRome Road, on July 25.
Police said that Gilmore, 32, fired a shot into the ceiling and then took money out of theteller drawers. Thomas, 30, took control of employees in offices and made them get on the floor atgunpoint, investigators said.
No one was injured during the robbery.
