A person has been taken into custody in a murder of a woman in Thornville.
Mother of five, Denise Haught, was found dead in her home on Wednesday.
Scott Farringer, 35, of Reynoldsburg, was arrested on Thursday evening.
Family members said that Farringer was Haught's on-again, off-boyfriend and is the father of one of her children.
Her ex-boyfriend was named a person of interest on Wednesday.
Investigators say Haught had only lived at the home for about six weeks, but in that time, the sheriff's office had been called there several times for domestic disputes.
"I think that there was certainly a disturbance at the house prior to us arriving. The other thing we checked is our record. And we had been out there in the past on a host of different issues, some of them disturbances," said Fairfield County Sheriff Dave Phalen.
Haught and her ex-boyfriend had been arguing at the home just hours prior to the discovery of Haught's body, said Phalen.
Farringer is expected to be arraigned Friday afternoon.
