A Lancaster man who was on the run from authorities is now off the streets.
The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office arrested Russell Senig after a three-week manhunt.
Senig was wanted for probation violations stemming from domestic violence and robbery convictions.
The Licking County Sheriff's Office attempted to stop a car Senig was in but that lead to a brief chase into Fairfield County. Senig then jump from the car and ran into the woods.
According to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, family members were reporting that Senig was threatening he would not be taken alive and making verbal threats toward law enforcement.
Deputies along with the Columbus Police Department SWAT team took Senig into custody at the Red Roof Inn on Brice Road.
Once in custody, deputies recovered several small bags of what appeared to be methamphetamines.
