It's an arrest that shocked even Gahanna Police.
"In my years in law enforcement, I've learned to never say I've seen everything because just when I say that, I see something I've never seen before," says Gahanna Police Sgt. Ethan Moffitt.
Gahanna officers say Dale Bentley fled after they tried to pull him over for speeding on Granville Street Sunday.
"(He) stopped at a red light, sat through the cycle continued going," Moffitt told 10TV's Jason Frazer.
Authorities tell 10TV when Bentley did stop, the 39-year-old appeared confused.
When Officers started to perform a field sobriety test, police say Bentley can be seen on dashboard camera dancing.
"We know that when people are intoxicated they're unpredictable." says Sgt Moffitt. "Our concern is that he could fall over, hurt himself, fall out in traffic."
Gahanna police say Bentley's blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit at the time of his arrest and he didn't seem to care about the danger he was causing to himself, officers or other drivers.
When 10TV visited Bentley's home, he declined an interview but told 10TV's Jason Frazer he did not recall dancing.
Gahanna Police say Bentley is facing several charges including OVI, fleeing from officers and speeding.
On Thursday, Bentley pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle under the influence.
