A 19-year-old, former Watkins Memorial student, is accused of making a threat over social media.
Henry Townsend, 19, was arrested by Licking County deputies on Sunday.
Townsend alleged wrote on a current student's Instagram account that he was going to the school to "commit murder."
He was found staying with a friend in Etna Township where he admitted that he typed the threat. He claimed he was never serious about it.
Townsend is being held on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on an unrelated charge. He was also charged with inducing panic.
Officials say no evidence indicates that Townsend was serious about the treat or capable of carrying it out.
