The former athletic director at Northland High School pleaded guilty to theft in office.

Ramani Hunter was sentenced to a six-month suspended sentence if she follows all the rules during a year of court imposed supervision.

Hunter, 32, said that she would repay the $7,400 she stole from the proceeds of a 2009 nationally televised basketball game featuring Jared Sullinger.

Hunter was first investigated when she walked into Columbus Schools' headquarter to hand over $9,500 in cash, saying it was Northland's cut from a basketball game that had been held the previous month at Otterbein University, according to The Columbus Dispatch.
