Dublin police on Thursday warned residents who park their cars outside about a rash of break-ins.
According to police, nearly a dozen cars have been broken into recently.
Erin Gill said that she was one of the victims, 10TV News reported.
“I was furious, because my car was wet inside, my stuff was gone,” Gill said. “They took my daughter’s dance bag, which was full of dance shoes and books. They had taken my bag, which was full of books in it.”
Gill said that some of her belongings were found, but she has to pay $250 to fix her window.
Dublin police warned residents to remove valuables from their vehicles.
