Crime Stoppers: Reward Offered For Grocery Store Robbery in London

Authorities are searching for a man who robbed the London Food Mart in January

This week’s “Crime of the Week” concerns a Robbery which took place in London, OH.  

On Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at approximately 9:55pm, an unknown male entered the London Food Mart located at 50 E. High St., London, OH.

The subject was on his cell phone for most of the time in the store. The suspect pulled a semi-automatic firearm from his left pocket, held the firearm in his left hand, and ordered the clerk to give him all of the money in the register.  After the clerk cleared the register of all the bills, the suspect left the store on foot.   There was no known method of transportation. The same man is suspected in convenience store robberies in multiple jurisdictions, including Columbus, Grove City, Bexley, and Whitehall.

The suspect is described as: Male/Black, Mid 20's, 5'7"-5'9", muscular build, some facial hair, wearing a navy blue hooded jacket with light strings, black knit cap, and dark blue jeans.
