Police were searching for a man who has repeatedly failed to register as a convicted sex offender, CrimeTracker 10 reported Tuesday.
John Thomas Walker was convicted in 2003 for raping a child under 13 years old.
Thomas, 38, was required to register as a sexually-oriented offender at the time but failed to do so several times since 2003, police said.
Thomas is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has blonde or strawberry hair, blue eyes and several tattoos. One has the name "Tina" across his chest. Thomas also has a skull tattoo on his left forearm, a bulldog with "South Side" below it. He also has black tribal tattoos on his right forearm and right calf.
His last known address was 1890 S. Fourth Street, south of Merion Village, CrimeTracker 10 reported.
