Richard Dameron fullfilled a court-ordered sentence on Monday by wearing a sign outside of a Cleveland police station.

CBS affiliate WOIO-TV reported the sign read "I was an idiot that day and it will never happen again."

Dameron had to first serve jail time for threatening to kill a police officer. The judge said when that time was up, he had to wear the sign.

He was first ordered to do it in June, but didn't show up, WOIO reported. He told a judge he was drunk and didn't have a ride.

Judge Pinkey Carr ordered him to an additional 90 days at that time.
