Bad Courtroom Behavior Sends Man Accused Of Murder To Jail

A man accused of murder is spending the night in jail after a judge revoked his bond due to bad behavior in court. Get the details.

An accused killer’s bond was revoked on Tuesday after the judge deemed his behavior unacceptable.

Keith Crabbs was accused of killing Brian Tobin in April 2010, 10TV’s Tanisha Mallett reported.

Prosecutors said that Crabbs shot and killed Tobin in front of his children after an argument.

Tobin’s 11-year-old son, who was in his father's vehicle at the time of the slaying, testified against Crabbs on Tuesday.

“I had to open up the door for him, the passenger door, so he could get in and climb over to the driver’s seat,” the boy said while testifying in court.

The boy ended his testimony by saying he held his younger sister, who was also in the back seat with him, as his father attempted to drive off but ultimately crashed into cars parked on the street, Mallett reported.

Surveillance video outside the courthouse showed Crabbs taking off his jacket and having an exchange with a person who was subpoenaed to testify in the case on Tuesday.

The judge said the incident, coupled with gestures he made toward the 10TV News crew and his late arrival to court, were enough to revoke his bond.

Crabbs was expected to testify on Wednesday.
