Police say a man stole money and a carton of Newport cigarettes from a Newark store early last Wednesday.
Authorities said the man robbed the Duke Station on Union Street just after midnight.
The suspect held a handgun on the clerk and took the money from the drawer, along with the cigarettes.
The suspect is in his early 20s and wore a white cloth covering his head and mouth.
After the robbery, the man fled toward Wehrle Avenue.
