COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 39-year-old woman in Obetz was arrested and charged in the death of her 2-year-old son on Tuesday.
According to documents from the Franklin County Municipal Court, Lemou Cire told detectives she killed her son around 11:30 a.m. at a residence on Holstein Drive.
Documents say Cire admitted to placing her hand over the mouth and the other hand over the nose of her son, causing him to stop breathing. The victim's identity was not released.
Cire is charged with aggravated murder. She is scheduled to be in court Wednesday morning.
