COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Columbus man was found guilty Friday in three separate rape cases involving minors, according to Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Gary Tyack.
John Allen, 47, was found guilty of raping three minors between 2012 and 2019, said the prosecuting attorney's office.
Allen attacked the first victim in 2012. He attacked the second victim in 2013. Allen attacked the third victim on several instances between 2017-2019.
The investigation began after the last victim came forward in April 2021. Allen was an acquaintance of all three victims.
A jury found Allen guilty of four counts of rape, one count of sexual battery and one count of gross sexual imposition.
He will be sentenced on Dec. 8 and faces a sentence of 15 years to life.
