COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police have identified the man killed in a shooting on Allendale Drive in east Columbus.
Officers were called to the 3600 block of Allendale Drive, just north of East Livingston Avenue, around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Elijah Lowe, 21, was found lying in front of a building and pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told police a suspect shot from inside the building then ran out the back.
Lowe's death is the 96th homicide in the city of Columbus in 2020.
