Police: 2 shot after fight breaks out at Halloween party in Hilltop neighborhood

A Columbus police sergeant said there was a Halloween party and a fight broke out. No suspect information has been released.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two people were injured in a shooting after a fight broke out at a Halloween party in the Hilltop neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Officers were called to the 100 block of South Oakley Avenue on a report of a shooting around 2:15 a.m. Two adults were found at the scene with gunshot wounds, police said.

Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to survive their injuries.
