The murder charge stems from the death of 21-year-old Caleb McKenzie on June 4.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police charged a 16-year-old boy with murder in the death of a man who was found shot after crashing his vehicle into a pole earlier this month.

The teen was arrested without incident by a Columbus SWAT team on Tuesday and is being held in the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center. The murder charge stems from the death of 21-year-old Caleb McKenzie on June 4.

Columbus police were called to Sullivant Avenue in the Franklinton neighborhood after a report of a crash in that area. Officers found McKenzie unresponsive inside a vehicle.
