COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was seriously hurt in a shooting at a Columbus apartment complex, police said.
The shooting happened just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Graydon Boulevard, which is south of Bethel Road and east of Sawmill Road.
The injured person was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Witnesses told police that the victim and suspect were in a fight which then led to the shooting.
The person is expected to survive, police say.
Police arrested 46-year-old Dennis Starkey Jr. and charged him with Felonious Assault. He is currently booked at the Franklin County Jail.
