A $2,000 reward was announced on Sunday leading police to the person responsible for robbing aGrandview Heights area coffee shop.
The Caribou Coffee Shop, located at 1425 Grandview Ave., was robbed at about 5:45 a.m. on Nov.25.
Two employees who arrived to open the store were confronted by an unknown man. The workerswere forced inside at gunpoint and were forced to give the robber all the money in the store,police said.
The robber then fled the store without harming the employees, police said.
Investigators describe the robber between 35 to 50 years old. He is between 5 feet 5 and 5feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 180 to 200 pounds. He wore all black clothing with ablack hooded sweatshirt or jacket and a black ski mask.
The robbery was the fifth of coffee shops in the Columbus area over the past month. Policesaid the suspect in all robberies has very similar descriptions and is believed to be responsiblefor all five robberies and possibly several additional business robberies.
The reward is valid for information received by Dec. 17 that leads to the arrest or indictmentof the person responsible for the crime.
