Hundreds of butterflies are on display at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.

It's the opening weekend for the Blooms & Butterflies exhibit.

Sometimes visitors are able to see the immersion process on top of watching them fly around in the exhibit.

The butterfly comes out and is wet like a tissue during the process. A few hours pass before the butterfly is able to fully expand its wings and fly.

Visitors can then watch the butterflies get released during educational programs that happen every day at 1 and 3 p.m.

Butterflies do not bite or sting and will land anywhere in the exhibit, including landing on visitors.

You can learn more about the exhibit that runs through September here.
