A former attorney accused of soliciting sex from a minor was sentenced to a month in jail onWednesday.
Barry Mentser was arrested inside the Ohio Statehouse in October in a sting set up by a HamiltonTownship police detective. Mentser thought he was meeting a 14-year-old girl who was on a fieldtrip, 10TV News reported.
Last month, the former Franklin County Children's Services attorney pleaded guilty toimportuning and attempted unlawful conduct with a minor.
Mentser, 48, must register as a sex offender.
