The new system utilizes sensors in the roadways and will show up on air -- and online -- as red,yellow and green, just like a traffic light.
The traffic alerts are not just limited to Nova's traffic reports.
On 10TV's traffic section, you can sign up for alerts. Just enter the route you would like to monitor. Then, you can receive e-mail, text messagesor receive phone calls to notify you about a traffic situation.
