Witnesses said that part of a car was trapped underneath of a school bus after a crash near Hilliard Tuesday afternoon.
According to witnesses near the scene, a car and a Hilliard City Schools bus collided near the intersection of Dublin and Trabue roads shortly before 4 p.m.
Southbound Dublin Road was closed because of the crash.
Students from Ridgewood Elementary School were on the bus at the time of the crash. Hilliard schools officials said that no students were injured in the crash.
Police said that the car was making a left turn onto Dublin Road from Trabue Road. The vehicle did not have the right of way.
A pick-up truck struck the red car and forced it under the school bus, which was stopped at a red light.
One person was pulled from the car that witnesses said was trapped under the bus.
One person was taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center with injuries. It was unknown if the person hospitalized was the same person who was pulled from the vehicle.
Police said that they suspected alcohol was a factor in the crash.
