The Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a teenager Friday night.
The crash occurred on Vans Valley Road west of Miller Paul Road in Galena shortly before 9 p.m.
Officers say Rayshawn R. Rankin, 19 of Galena, was behind the wheel when he drove left of center, over-corrected, and struck a guardrail and concrete bridge support.
One of the passengers, 19-year-old Kendra D. Helton of Worthingon, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other passengers were identified as 18-year-old Eleanor Gallagher of Illinois and 16-year-old Austin T. Wray of Lewis Center.
Rankin, Gallagher and Wray were all expected to survive.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
