More than a half of million pounds of pork products are being recalled because they were not inspected properly.

The announcement came from the United States Department of Agriculture, saying the products "were produced without the benefit of federal inspection and outside inspection hours."

Morris meat packing — out of Illinois — is recalling various cuts including pork loin, pork ribs and pork chops.

The items were produced on Saturdays from Nov. 25, 2017 to Nov. 9, 2019 and were shipped to distributors and Illinois retail locations.

The items subject to the recall have the establishment number “EST. 18267” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

People who have the affected products should not consumer them and should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

The complete list of pork products recalled can be found here.
