Parents are expressing concerns about the safety of Huggies baby wipes after several mothers said they found shards of glass in them.

Aspen Patterson said her son's had a rash since she started using the company's natural care wipes last month.

"We use the natural care one, so it should be natural stuff," Patterson said.

A Huggies spokesperson said Patterson didn't find glass, but it could be melted fibers from the wipe.

Patterson said that's still not something she wants to find on a product for her children.

"It's supposed to be soft fiber, you know, there should not be anything hard on it," Patterson said.

Huggies does not plan to recall the product, claiming it is not dangerous.

The company has set up a new page on its website about this issue and it has a phone number for parents to call with questions about this issue. That phone number is 1-888-485-5839.
