Popular southern chicken tender chain opens Worthington location

WORTHINGTON, Ohio — A popular chicken tender chain in the southern part of the country opened a restaurant in Worthington.

Huey Magoo's newest restaurant is located at 53 W. Wilson Bridge Rd. Its hours are Sunday-Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Huey Magoo's was founded in 2004 in central Florida and dubs themselves as the "Filet Mignon Of Chicken."

The menu features  3, 5 and 7-piece tender meals. All three meals come with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and Magoo's dip. The 5 and 7-piece meals come with coleslaw as well. The tenders come either hand-breaded or grilled. The restaurant also offers sandwiches, wraps and salads.

Huey Magoo's has 64 restaurants, mostly in the southern part of the country, with four locations in Ohio. There is a Huey Magoo's restaurant in Marysville and two in the Dayton area.

“We are especially excited to open our newest Huey Magoo’s restaurant in my hometown of Worthington,” says franchisee Tim Hobart.  “We pride ourselves in being very involved in all of our local communities, and we look forward to further growing this great brand’s popularity throughout the Dayton and Columbus regions.” 

The Worthington location will offer dine-in/out, take-out, catering and online ordering. Customers can also order through DoorDash and Uber Eats.
