A Christmas miracle: All dogs adopted from Pennsylvania shelter

They now hope to help other Pennsylvania shelters by taking in some of their animals to relieve some of their stress.

ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — Three days before Christmas, the Adams County SPCA received the best gift possible.

On Friday, the organization announced all of their dogs were adopted leaving behind only empty kennels.

According to their Facebook post, just two weeks ago, the kennels were almost full of dogs wanting a forever home.

The Adams County SPCA said this is the first time in 47 years that their kennels have been empty, especially during the holidays.

In 2023, the organization got 598 animals adopted and reunited 125 lost pets with their owners.

The SPCA now hopes to help other Pennsylvania shelters by taking in some of their animals to relieve some of their stress.
