‘The Book of Mormon’ returns to Ohio Theatre in October

COLUMBUS, Ohio — “The Book of Mormon” is returning to the Ohio Theatre in October for its first Columbus show since 2018.

There will be eight shows, running Oct. 8-13, at the theatre on East State Street. Tickets start at $39 and are available here.

The Broadway production is directed by Trey Parker and two-time Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw and choreographed by Nicholaw.

The show has won nine Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album. It also won five Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical, the NY Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, the Drama League Award for Best Musical and four Outer Critics Circle Awards including Best Musical.

To date, the musical has been performed on three continents and has won more than 30 international awards.
