COLUMBUS, Ohio — It's that time of the year again! Leaves will soon be falling, the days will start growing cooler and many Ohioans are searching for fun-filled autumn events.
If you're looking for a fun activity for the whole family this season, look no further! Central Ohio is home to many family-owned farms that offer pumpkin and apple-picking as well as some other activities like corn mazes.
Find your perfect pumpkin, delicious apples and giant corn mazes at one of the central Ohio farms listed below.
Circle S Farms | 9015 London-Groveport Road, Grove City
Circle S Farms, located west of Grove City, welcomes thousands each year to their "Fall Fun Days," an event from mid-September through October. Visitors can stop by to enjoy pumpkin picking, hayrides, the fun barn, mazes, donuts and more.
Leeds Farm | 8738 Marysville Road, Ostrander
Leeds Farm has plenty of activities for the whole family. The farm has barnyard activities, hayrides, farm animals and a farm pond. There is even a giant zip line!
Lehner’s Farm | 2920 state Route 203, Radnor
The season starts Sept. 21 and lasts until Oct. 27 at Lehner's Pumpkin Farm this year. The farm offers a jump pillow, pumpkin bowling, a tire climb and of course, hundreds of pumpkins for guests to choose from. There are approximately 40 acres of pumpkins and gourds, according to their website.
Lohstroh Family Farms | 15632 SR 56 SE, Mt. Sterling
This Mount Sterling farm has begun its pumpkin harvesting and has some ready-to-grab pumpkins for guests. There is also a field of sunflowers that guests can take a stroll through. If you're looking for some apple treats, Lohstroh Family Farms has apple cider, apple cider slushies, donuts and more!
Lynd Fruit Farm | 9399 Morse Road SW, Pataskala
You can pick your very own apples at this Pataskala spot! Their market is open seven days a week and apple season has begun. This farm is also home to an impressive corn maze with a neat design.
The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek | 8657 Axe Handle Road, Milford Center
Those looking for an impressive sunflower display will find one here. This stop also has an 8-acre Snoopy-themed corn maze. The farm has several activities for families to enjoy, including "hole-y cow putt putt," which is all-new this year.
Millers Country Farms | 2493 SR 37 W, Delaware
Guests can choose between picking a pumpkin from the pile or taking a ride in a hay wagon to the pumpkin field to hunt for their own (this is only offered on Saturdays and Sundays in October). Along with plenty of fresh produce, this farm has an animal barn where families can visit sheep, goats, ducks, mini horses and mini donkeys.
Pigeon Roost Farm | 4413 National Road SW, Hebron
There are more than 30 fall-themed activities for families, including things like a maze, Skee-Ball, giant saucer swings, milk jug toss, zip lines, duck races and more. There are also plenty of farm animals to check out too. Pumpkins are brought in from the fields and displayed for guests to choose one they like.
Van Buren Acres | 5066 Keller Road, Hebron
Guests can choose a pumpkin, stroll through a corn maze and sunflower trails and enjoy plenty of activities the farm has to offer.
