'Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical' coming to Columbus this winter

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Grinch is coming to steal Christmas in Columbus this winter.

Broadway in Columbus is bringing "Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical" to the Palace Theatre from Dec. 3-8 for a total of nine shows.

The classic Christmas tale features the hit songs "You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas.” Throughout the show, the Grinch finds that there's more to Christmas than he thought.

Tuesday, Dec. 3 - 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 4 - 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 5 - 7:30 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 7 - 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 8 - 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Tickets start at $35 and go on sale to the public on Friday, July 12 at 10 a.m. They are available for purchase at www.BroadwayInColumbus.com, by calling 614-469-0939 or visiting the CBUSArts Ticket Center at the Ohio Theatre.

The show broke box office records for two consecutive years on Broadway during its holiday engagements in New York, according to a release. Since then, more than 2.5 million theatergoers across America have seen it.

The 2024 production is directed by Matt August and choreographed by Bob Richard.
