Pumpkins Aglow exhibit returns to Franklin Park Conservatory

Each evening includes entertainment such as crafts, pumpkin-themed lawn games and a family-friendly dance area.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Visitors will soon see the return of Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens' fan-favorite fall event, Pumpkins Aglow.

Pumpkins Aglow brings hundreds of jack-o-lanterns, light displays, family-friendly entertainment and more to Franklin Park's outdoor gardens. Some returning favorite displays include the festive skeletons, pumpkin houses and the pumpkin tunnel light show.

The exhibit will be open Oct. 9-13, Oct. 16-20 and Oct. 23-27.

Each evening includes entertainment such as crafts, pumpkin-themed lawn games and a family-friendly dance area. Watch light-up jugglers on Oct. 9-13, a light-up stilt walking robot on Oct. 16-20 and light-up hula hoopers and aerial act on Oct. 23-27. 

The Glass Pumpkin Patch will be available each evening for visitors to purchase glass pumpkins made by local artists.

For the Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday dates, the hours range from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. while the Friday and Saturday dates will be from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In addition to Pumpkins Aglow, visitors can experience the horticultural displays of Harvest Blooms, another fall exhibition on display during admission through Nov. 3. The entire Conservatory is open these evenings, including the indoor plant collections, the Chihuly Collection, Paul Busse Garden Railway, Through the Vines: A Seasonal Journey and Color, Fly, Butterfly.
