Comedian Bill Burr coming to Columbus in May

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Bill Burr, a Grammy and Emmy-nominated comedian, is continuing his current tour into the new year and will be stopping by Columbus in May.

“Bill Burr Live” kicked off in 2023 and is continuing into 2024 with newly added dates and locations. Burr will perform at the Schottenstein Center on Thursday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m.

Burr is an actor and a comedian and recently made history as the first comedian to perform at Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox. He also has a podcast, "Monday Morning Podcast," which is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts.

“Old Dads,” a film that Burr starred in and directed, was one of the most-watched films worldwide on the streaming platform in its first and second week of being released.

Tickets for the comedy tour go on sale to the general public on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. Artist presale is Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

Phones and devices will not be permitted in the performance space. According to Ticketmaster, all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in an individual Yondr pouch that can be opened at the end of the event.
