COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Taco Fest is returning this spring to celebrate everything taco-related.
This year's event will return to Genoa Park on May 18 from noon to 10 p.m. and May 19 from noon to 8 p.m. Due to its increasing popularity, Taco Fest will also be expanding over the Rich Street Bridge.
The Little Market area will showcase local artisans and craft vendors, offering a diverse variety of goods. The Dessert Alley area is for those with a sweet tooth, featuring treats and desserts from Columbus confectioners.
Admission before 2 p.m. on the day of the event is free but will cost visitors $5 if they arrive after 2 p.m.
"At Columbus Taco Fest, we are committed to delivering an exceptional experience for taco enthusiasts while also navigating the economic realities we face. The introduction of a nominal admission fee post-2 p.m. will enable us to maintain the vibrancy of the festival, support local businesses, and contribute to the community through our partnership with the Columbus Diaper Coalition," said Hugo Albornoz, the event's executive director.
