COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Metropolitan Library has announced the five featured authors that will headline this summer's Columbus Book Festival.

The headliners for the festival include Hanif Abdurraqib, Porochista Khakpour, Nick Petrie, Veronica Roth and Kennedy Ryan.

The free two-day festival will take place on July 13 and 14 in downtown Columbus at the Main Library and Topiary Park.

In addition to the five headliners, the festival will feature more than 200 national and local authors from a variety of genres who will participate in panel discussions and sign books sold through the Official Festival Bookstore.

More than 70 independent creators, small press writers and self-published authors will exhibit under the Indie Author Alley tent.

Local food and drinks, new and used books for sale, retail and nonprofit exhibitors featuring all things literary, will fill Topiary Park.

This marks the second year of the Columbus Book Festival. CML first held the event in 2023 to commemorate the organization's 150th birthday, but due to its success which saw nearly 34,000 people attend, they decided the festival would return this year.
