Elton John to resume farewell tour next year; Columbus concert moved to April 2022

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Elton John has announced a return for his farewell tour, which was previously cut short due to the coronavirus.

The "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour kicks off again in Europe in September of 2021; North America begin in January of the following year.

Elton John announced the return of the tour on social media Wednesday, saying, in part, “I’ve been enjoying my time at home with the family while the world navigates its way through the COVID pandemic. But, I really miss being on the road and performing for my beloved fans in my Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour."

The "Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour" will conclude with a series of select stadium performances, tour officials announced. Additional information will be announced at a later date.
