COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kristen McFarland joined the 10TV News team as a reporter in April 2024.
A Columbus native, Kristen grew up in Powell and graduated from Olentangy Liberty High School.
Kristen received her Bachelor's degree in media communications from Florida State University.
During her time in the Sunshine State, she won the 2018 NCAA National Championship as a member of the FSU women's soccer team.
After college, Kristen spent a year playing professional soccer in the Netherlands.
Coming back to the states, Kristen spent two years in Youngstown, Ohio, as a reporter and weekend anchor.
She extensively covered the East Palestine train derailment and President Joe Biden's visit a year later.
Kristen is so excited to be back in her hometown sharing stories and giving back to the community that raised her.
