COLUMBUS, Ohio — Collin Dorsey is a journalist who anchors the weekend evening newscasts on 10TV. He reports through the week on stories affecting central Ohio.

Collin grew up in southern Illinois and is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. His focus was on broadcast journalism, criminal justice and political science.
His journalism career started at WDQN-AM in DuQuoin, Illinois writing and anchoring newscasts. He also wrote for the Perry County Weekly-Press newspaper. Collin made the move to television in 2016 when he was hired as a reporter and weekend anchor for WSIL-TV in Carterville, Illinois. Two years later, he moved to Waterloo, Iowa to work for KWWL-TV. He anchored newscasts for Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Dubuque. He has received several regional awards as a part of these news teams.
Outside of work, Collin enjoys getting to know the people of central Ohio. You will find him at events ranging from the Worthington Farmers’ Market to the Ohio State Fair. He enjoys cooking, exploring state parks and camping.
