COLUMBUS, Ohio — Angela is a seven-time Emmy award-winning journalist who anchors 10TV News at Four and 10TV News at 5:30 p.m. She is also a National and Regional Edward R. Murrow Award winner for Breaking News coverage in 2023. Angela currently leads 10TV’s Boomtown coverage looking at challenges and solutions as central Ohio grows.
Angela joined WBNS in 2000 and quickly rose from a general assignment reporter to an anchor on the morning news for nearly two decades. During that time, Angela helped launch several station franchises including CrimeTracker 10, the Gratitude Project and the station’s NextDoor partnership, sharing positive stories of people doing good.

Community service is one of Angela’s greatest passions. She was named a “10 of 10 Women Leaders” by Dress for Success Columbus and honored by MADD of Central Ohio with the Driven to Save Lives Award. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium invited Angela to an exclusive behind-the-scenes with Jungle Jack Hanna during his final appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman in New York City. Angela says one of her most impactful assignments was traveling to Sri Lanka to cover the deadly Southeast Asia tsunami in 2004 which showed how humanity can rise above tragedy.
Angela has received high recognition from organizations including the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists, the Associated Press, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She is on the boards of the Columbus Council on World Affairs and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Advisory Board. Angela also served on boards for Komen Columbus, Canine Companions, and Columbus Fashion Week in which she was board president. She lends her support to Crime Stoppers of Central Ohio and the Heinzerling Foundation.
Prior to 10TV, Angela worked at KSL-TV in Salt Lake City, where she was one of the first journalists in the market to be certified as a wildland firefighter. Angela also co-founded a news magazine program, China Near and Far, based out of New York City. Her journalism career began at KCAL-TV in Los Angeles. Angela is a graduate of the University of Southern California. She also has a master’s degree in strategic public relations from George Washington University. Angela is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and plays classical piano. She loves to golf and is proud to call central Ohio home.
