COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police are investigating after a body was found Wednesday afternoon at the shoreline of Big Walnut Creek near an east-side community center.
A kayaker reported seeing the body in the water just before noon.
First responders located the body in Big Walnut Creek near the Far East Community Center. Medics with the Columbus Division of Fire pronounced the person dead at approximately 12:05 p.m.
Circumstances surrounding the person's death are unknown at this time.
No other additional information has been released.
